A BIT ABOUT ME
Hi there! My name is Guy Henderson and I'm an Adelaide-based early-career editor, writer, and director.
I am passionate about creating works in both comedy and drama genres and am highly skilled at working both independently and collaboratively both as director and crew member throughout all stages of the production process.Â
I love watching movies, reading books and plays, and occasionally treading the boards in local community theatre productions.
EDUCATION AND GRANTS
2023 Quicksilver Production Funding Grant
$7,000 awarded for the production of an 8-minute queer historical drama short film called 'Great Deliverance'.
2023 Independent Arts Foundation Small Grant
$4,950 awarded for the production funding of 'Great Deliverance'.
2022 Carclew Project and Development Grant
$7,160 awarded for the development of a historical drama short film script exploring homophobia in 1950's rural Australia to be undertaken from January to March 2022.
MAPS Film School - Class of 2021
